The Archaeological Museum of Chiomonte represents the symbol of Chiomonte's history.
It collects elements and materials dated back to 5000 or 6000 years ago.

Indeed in 1987 it was discovered one of the biggest prehistoric villages of the neolithic age in nortern Italy.
Its surface is about 12000 s.m and by chance it was found during the construction of the Frejus motorway.
